It has been a long time since I have posted a “Sarah Amelia” centric blog. I must remedy that! We have taken so many pictures, and I have been trying to figure out how to put them together. Well, I will be 80 before I ever think of anything clever, so I am just going to go through a quick review of the summer. This is a Grandparent “must read” – LOL!
So, there is my sweet “little” baby! Isn’t she precious? I know you said YES! She seemed gigantic compared to Rachel Ann’s newborn size! Unlike Rachel, she was a good little eater and sleeper. I think the extra weight helped out with that.
Anyway, time didn’t stop for our household the way that it did when Rachel came home. In just a few weeks, Sarah was coming along with the rest of us to gymnastics competitions, the rodeo, wherever! Of course when babies are so little, they can’t do a whole lot. Eat, pee and poop, sleep (hopefully), cry..
I must say that Sarah has been pretty easy-going for the most part! She went through that wonderful “4th trimester” phase without a lot of incident. She cried so little and slept so well that Bryan thought something was wrong with her. I refused to let him make me worry about a perfect little angel baby! I think that God knows what each of us can endure, and He knew that I would not have been able to survive another colicky baby….
Just when I started to realize that I had hardly bought any new clothes for Sarah (didn’t really need to since I saved almost all of Rachel’s baby clothes), my family showered her with adorable baby clothes!
Here is a sampling….
