Sarah Amelia is doing some really cool stuff. I have been intending on posting this for a while but never had the opportunity to actually capture it on video!
She has been sitting pretty well for a little while. That has advanced to going from tummy to sitting up, and now scooting a little!
On a side note…. It’s kind of funny, but Bryan always worries about things that I don’t. That is good, because I can be calm and point out the reasons why he shouldn’t worry. On the other hand, he can’t return the favor – when I worry, he worries even more!! Take the whole, gross motor skills development thing. Rachel didn’t technically crawl until she was almost 10 months old. Bryan was stressed to the max over that! “why isn’t she crawling? do you think she is behind?” As we all know, Rachel’s gross motor skills are just fine. Fortunately, he is a little less panicky about Sarah’s development!
Anyway, her is a little sampling of some fun new stuff! If you click on the links within the text, you should be able to see video. If it doesn’t work for you, let me know, and I will try an alternative!
If you click on the link above, you will see Sarah Amelia playing with her little light-up/singing toy from Grandma and Grandpa Wooton. I was pretty excited to see that she had figured out how to get press on the hand to make stuff happen!
You will need to crank the volume way up on this one. In this video, Sarah is babbling while in her little bouncer. Yes, I know – sheer genius!
In this gem, I thought I was going to capture video of Sarah starting to crawl, or maybe some sweet sisterly moment. I guess this would fall under a “sisterly moment”. Be amazed at how wonderful my beautiful daughters are at burping! Then, the door bell rang and the fun was over.
OK – here we go! In this little clip, you can see that Sarah is making a very slight crawling motion!!! Be amazed! lol 🙂
Oh, sorry if my voice on the video is annoying….
